Welcome to the Family
We would like to welcome Brother Wing Kwan Yeung and Sister Yuk Mei Ng joining our church as members. They were baptized on July 28 at Pastor Larry’s home. Pray that they will continue to grow in the Lord.

Welcome Back
The six short-term missionaries who went to Mexico for a week came back safely after a week in the hot and humid Tijuana. Other than a few queasy stomachs, all was well. They will be sharing with the church their experience and future plan on August 2nd. Hope you can be with us to share their joy.

Meng Chhun has returned from Cambodia after his engagement with a lovely lady, Danei. He is now applying for her visa to come to the United States. Pray for a smooth and speedy application, so that Meng would not have to spend his salary paying for long distance phone calls.

Invitation
Money Management: There will be a English special seminar on “Financial Planning” on August 17 (Saturday) from 9:00am to noon. Mr. Lam Sau-Wing is the guest speaker. All is welcome!

Our church will have a Fun Day on Saturday, August 24. Instead of having an All-church Picnic as previous years, we have decided to hold an activity day at church. It will be from 10am to 4pm. Please come and join us for a day of food, fun, and fellowship.

Congratulations!
Anna Yung gave birth to a healthy 7 lb. 10 oz baby boy on Monday afternoon. Timothy Yung is the first of Anna and Roger Yung’s. May God bless their family.

Ivan Lee proposed, and Karen Lau said, “Yes!” They plan to get married in 2003. May God bless their new beginning together.

Edmund Lee and Sophia Gan will renew their wedding vows on August 18. They were married on November 26, 1999. May God continue to build up their marriage.
