Meeting Schedule
Worship
We have two different worship services, one conducted in English at 9:30am and one conducted in Cantonese at 11:00am. While the adults are having their worship, children under twelve have their own Children Worship at 11:00am.
Sunday School
In order to provide opportunities for everyone to grow into maturity, we have Sunday School (Bible Study groups) for all ages. We have the following classes: Adult Cantonese classes, Young Adult Cantonese class, Adult English class, Young Adult English class, College English class, High School English class, Junior High English class, and different levels of Children classes (all Children classes are conducted in English). Cantonese classes meet at 9:30am, and English classes meet at 11:00am. Whenever we have joint worship, all Sunday School classes meet at 9:30am.
Fellowships
In view of Christian bonding as an important factor for mutual support, we have weekly Friday night fellowship meetings tailored for different groups. These fellowship groups are also viewed as a channel to reach out to new friends who may come to know the church more in a warm and friendly fashion. Most of the activities are designed to meet the practical needs of each particular group, and are scheduled to be at the church’s site, though there are times they are conducted off site. In general, all groups meet at 7:30pm every Friday. These different groups are described below:

Joy Fellowship consists of mostly Cantonese speaking adults with children. Most of them are immigrants from overseas and have children born in the States. Common struggles with cultural and generational differences these members face as they live in the Bay Area make this group unique.

Gentleness Fellowship is an English speaking adult group. Most of them have been in the States for a while. Due to the particular circumstance of the working hour of some of the members, this group meets at 8:00pm on Friday nights.

Self-control Fellowship consists of mostly Cantonese speaking young professional and college students. Most of them came from Hong Kong in recent years. Their mission is to practice and experience God’s love. You are encouraged to visit their own web page for more information.

Caleb Fellowship is a group of cantonese-speaking students coming from different colleges in the bay area. Southbay Young Adult Fellowship (SYAF) is a group of young professionals. The majority of them are either American born Chinese or have been in the States for most of their life. Since they all have joined the work force in recent years, they share many common life issues and are seeking a correct Christian worldview. They also have their own web page. Check it out.

College Life is a group of highly energized college students. The college years are a transition period for a person, whether (s)he is going to make it or break it later on in life. These students try to do a lot of fun activities to ease school related stress, and at the same time, learn to internalize Biblical principles.

Goodness Fellowship is also known as the youth group. American-born Chinese teenagers who have to adapt to two different cultures are led by an advisor and a few counselors. Everyone looks forward to the annual Youth Camp, which usually occurs in August.

Junior Varsity Fellowship consists of eager and energetic sixth-through eighth-graders who not only have lots of fun through games and special events, but are taught to grow in their understanding of their Christian life. Come and visit – you will not be disappointed in how much fun you can have in fellowship! |

Awana Club is the children program led by many dedicated leaders. So far, we have our different groups separated by gender and age. The evening programs are divided into three different sections: council time, Bible time, and game time. Children really enjoy these programs.

English Couples Group is a special fellowship/support group. Since most of the members of this group assist in other different fellowship groups during Friday night’s program, this group meets on the second Sunday for lunch and fellowship and fourth Wednesday nights at 7:30pm. They meet at one of the member’s home. Please call our church for details.

Prayer Meetings
On the first Wednesday of each month at 8:00pm, we have three regional prayer meetings: two conducted in Cantonese (Fremont and San Jose) and one conducted in English (San Jose). Please call our church for details. On the third Wednesday night of each month at 7:30pm, we have an all-church prayer meeting at church. This prayer meeting has two prayer groups, one in Cantonese and the other in English.
Weeknight Bible Studies
On the second and fourth Wednesday night at 8:15pm, we have a Cantonese Bible study group which meets at the pastor’s home. Please call our church for details.
