Building Project Update
September was a critical month for the Building Project. We received the CUP approval to retain our existing building. On that day, there were about 30 prayer warriors praying during the Public Hearing, and about 20 went to the City Hall. Praise God for making it a relatively smooth ride.
We also received the approval of the steel structure and the fire-proofing issue. Verbal approval to start insulation and other work was granted. Once the rough mechanical, electrical and plumbing inspections pass, we can call for a framing inspection.
Church Decision
During the Third Quarter Business Meeting, the church has passed the following resolutions: renew the terms for Pastor Larry as Senior Pastor and Brother Daniel as Church Administrator for another three years; elected Brother Paul Leung as Associate Deacon for two years, and elected officers for 2010; bylaw regarding the qualification of church chairman was also changed.
Condolences
Linda Wong was called home to be with the Lord on September 23rd. Memorial Service is to be held on October 3rd at Alameda Family Funeral Cremation in Saratoga. May the Lord comfort her families.
